I needed a break from all the Christmas madness and decided to return to an older piece, the Japanese Maiden from Dimensions Gold. I got into the groove fairly quickly last weekend and made quite a bit of progress. I also decided to backstitch some of the facial features. I had to redo the mouth 3 times, but it came out much better. The first is where I was and the remaining three are where I am now.

Thank you. It took me a few tries to get the mouth just right. I didn't like the way it looked so I ripped it out and did it until it came out the way I wanted. Still need to redo the right eyebrow.  Post time 2014-1-14 00:57
