These are great! I too have done the technic. It is a simple thing, you just have to get use to holding such fine threads. You can use embroidery machine thread or regular sewing thread. To change colors you use a step up method of changing the three threads of same color to two of same color and one of next color. Then two of next color and one of last color. Then three of new color. Quiet easy when you get the hang of it.
