I was very lucky this year to be gifted some money for my birthday.
There were bills to be paid and children who needed shoes but I very selfishly
spent all the money on stitching stuff for myself.
(The bills still got paid, and the children have new shoes).
Some useful stitchy things, some are for my sister who also had a birthday recently.
So I guess it isnt all for me ;P
Thread for Harvest Delivery and Halloween Delivery by Plum Street Samplers. The fabric I had already.
Thread for HAEMAG 163 Snow and my version of Love Thy Thread Sepia Geisha, which I had kitted up and started....
but I was disappointed by how washed out it looked, so I made up my own colours. I know its
supposed to be sepia but now its just more in pink tones than yellow tones.
Im very happy with how this one is looking now :P
And last some very beautiful fabrics.

omgosh the fabrics! gorgeous. if the bills got paid and the kiddies have shoes, then why not spend some on your birthday money on yourself?! i really like the colours you picked out. i think the pink tones are nice. not so washed out but keeping the right feel. great job. :loveliness:
