My 4 and 5yr old gran daughters both wanted to be elsa for holloween. I looked for a costume and was shocked at the prices for the flimsy and onetime wear piece. So I decieded to make one on my own...... here is what I did. I took a long sleeve tee from wally world and spray tacked on the elsa bodice. then I zigzaged all around the top edges to hold the top in place. put the back on in the same way and sewed the side seams. I left the bottom to flow free so we could get the V at the waist line. then I made a skirt with elastic and complete with the slit up the front just like elsa the snow queen. Made the straight gathered cape that attaches on the back and around up under the arms and fastened it on with stick on velcro. Crocheted a swirl hat and added a braid that flips around over the shoulder and wala a finished elsa costume..... I think both costumes cost me a total of 30 dollars, including the shirts and fabric
One very HAPPY girl!!!!
