if you dont mind, my opinion, patterns taken from magazines are important, some may need this pattern and some does not have the magazine or some dont want complete magazine but cares only for the pattern.  But it should be mentioned this pattern from which magazine, issue, date, and pages, because if I have this magazine I dont have to download the pattern even if its free, but if I dont have the magazine or I want this pattern I can download it with knowledge :)
