I asked for this pattern on the site a whole ago and was really thrilled when it was uploaded I didnt really have much time to make it for myself with getting so many orders for dolls from my small buisness, I was bouncing with excitment when someone comminosed me for him of all people my Grandma for her boyfriend!
Day 1
The head and Body are prety much one solid part but their are stop and start points with the bottom and the shirt but nothing to complicated. The Head had a series of slip stitches in areas rather than single crochets, Im not sure why though.
Day 2
Rather than working on the legs & arms I decided to work on the face and head first to really help him come to life! most of the details were realitvley easy to make I had a bit of trouble with the cluster stitching for the eyelids but i worked it out fairly easily
the pattern calls to embroider the hair on the top of the head but I decided to use pipe cleaners to keep it looking true to the cartoon.
I will add to this thread as I continue my progress on him, its my birthday tomorrow (the 30th nov) so I will probobly be taking a day off haha!
