Wow, beautiful...
What size is your blancket...?

i didnt really measure it. shame on me. but it wasnt overly generous. so i would have to say on the smaller side of 20/30. they didnt want anything large. it is for christenings. and thank you. i was kinda proud of this one :)

I Would have been proud aswell, it is a beautifull blancket and im sure the mum and dad were very happy to use something so beautiful at the christening... <3

i find it less stressful to make things for strangers. i dont have to see if they like it or not. or if they will actually use what i have spent so much of my time on. i made a beautiful sweater for my one son. it is in a draw under everything else. most of the things i have made for friends and family dont get used.

Ohh wow, thats a shame (englisch is not my first language, sorry for not putting up good lines) Ik make almost everything for charity in the Netherland and Belgium and i do agree with you that it is less stressfull making things for other people than your own family or the ones close by you :-)

English is my first language and i have been asked often if it was. lol. i have a friend i met threw the internet she is in Italy and her English is better than mine. not sure what i would do if there wasnt spell check :) when i finish something it gives me a feeling of accomplishment.  my sons are grown and i am just a house wife now. who doesnt like house work. so i look for patterns, how to videos and knit lol.
