Ive just finished this project. I wanted something to contain my sewing bits and bobs in a handy way while Im working on my projects.
I followed the pattern mostly but I wanted the pin cushion to decorate the top of the bobbin instead of having a separate pin cushion so I designed my own pattern for a circle. I used wadding for the padding and finished off the inside with a buttonhole stitch. It now carries some pins which are always useful. Instead of the cardboard thread tube Im using some mother of pearl rabbit thread keepers.
