From the designer: "A double-thick luscious tubular garment knit in a continuous tube in the round on one circular needle, no twisting, no sewing, no grafting, no wrong side to show, no double knitting, no extra knitting needles. This simple technique we’ve dubbed the Kintai bind off™ will amaze you and opens a world of options to those who are finish phobic. The tube is knitted then folded and joined to create a dimensional garment from a flat piece, as in origami paper folding. The Kintai bind off™, much like the Kintai bridge in Iwakuni, Japan, magically joins two separate places to make one. Intricate in its own way, it will appeal to those who prefer knitting things together rather than sewing them. This garment is knit at a loose enough gauge to create a soft fabric with versatile, modern and forgiving drape, not the usual stuff of which stiff super-bulky projects are made. Is it a cowl, a cape, a hood, a wrap? You decide! You will need three colors to achieve the look in the photos. (one skein of each)."
