Oh, the Crest of the Wave lace stitch—now that’s a delightful pattern that feels like you’re knitting gentle ocean waves right into your fabric! It’s got that lovely rhythmic flow, with yarn overs and decreases creating those airy, rolling curves that catch the light just so. Perfect for shawls, scarves, or any project where you want a bit of elegance and movement without too much fuss. The key is to keep your tension even so those waves really stand out, and don’t be shy about using a lifeline—you know, a little safety net for when the waves get a bit too wild. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be dreaming of beach days and salty breezes every time you pick up your needles!
