Small Magic circle

For a 4-stitch magic circle, keep your loop loose enough so you can easily work your stitches without the yarn tightening too soon. Use a smaller hook than usual to help control the tension, and take your time inserting the stitches evenly around the loop. After crocheting the stitches, gently pull the tail to close the circle tight—this way your center will be neat without gaps. Practicing the motion slowly a few times really helps it feel more natural and less fiddly.
