Red rose jam is a kind of speciality of Yunan province in China. My roomate of university will send me the jam every year. And this is the first time I made the jam myself. After washing the red rose thoroghly, add the sugar water to cook the rose until the rose is thick. I used the jam as a stuffing of bread. In Yunan, you can even have the traditional mooncake with the rose jam stuffing. It's my favorite!:lol
