Worsted: 350 yards (320 m)
Fingering: 400 yards (366 m)
Pattern instructions are provided for both Fingering Weight and Worsted Weight versions.
It’s a triangle-shaped wrap, not entirely unlike a shawl but Cilantro is a bit asymmetrical and designed to be worn wrapped up, not extended across the shoulders.
By casting on at the point, and working in pattern until you’re nearly out of yarn, Cilantro uses up every yard. Even better, Cilantro can be worked successfully with nearly any gauge of yarn.
Use the yardage specified for worsted-weight and sock-weight as a general guideline and pick a needle size two sizes larger than what you’d use for stockinette.
Instructions are provided in both written format and fully charted.
