Where do you like to start a pattern from?

Interesting! I start from the middle because that is where my mom started, and her mom before her. Sounds like Im in the minority, though!:D

i used to start from the middle. Now I start from top right after I started to grid my fabric.

Hi girls! I start from the  middle, that helps me  to put pattern in the  middle :)  My frieng Mirica always began in upper left corner, and my friend Xenia always from the  bottom :)  Happy stitching, girls!:D

I start at the furthest point down from the center of the design. Then work my way over to the bottom right hand corner.

I used to start in the middle. But I too switched to top left when I started gridding my fabric. I love that if you grid, you can start anywhere!.

I always start from the middle I dont grid, and the one time I started in (what I thought was) the upper left corner, I had to pull it all out and redo the whole thing...

I always start in the bottom corner, left or right depends of the design

it depends on the pattern - normally I start in the middle when I haven´t grid my fabric. I always stitch (my crosses) from right to left, top to bottom.
