I know this is a very old thread, but thanks so much for posting this how-to. As a new user, this site and the permissions around what level you are is a bit overwhelming haha!

Help please! At one point it said I needed (about) 170 credits to upgrade usergroup.  When I had over 170, the amount needed was changed to 149.  Now that I am way above the amount needed, it is not registering that I have "enough" (More than enough) to level up my user group.  Is this a bug?  Up until now the usergroup always automatically levelled up.
