Also, try utube. I found a great video on building your own lap stand with pvc pipe if you use Q-snaps. There are many ideas out there that are very reasonable in price.

i have floor stand made from scrap wood here on our home. i just pattern or copy it on what i saw on internet about floor stand and it is helpful to my stitching. i also saved money since floor stand is expensive.
