Bamboo yarn is a soft, silky, and breathable option that's great for lightweight garments, especially in warmer weather. It has a beautiful drape and feels gentle against the skin, making it ideal for baby clothes, summer tops, or shawls. However, it can be slippery to work with, may split easily, and tends to stretch or lose shape over time if not blended with other fibers. While it's often marketed as eco-friendly, the manufacturing process can vary in sustainability. Overall, bamboo yarn is lovely for certain projects, especially when paired with the right pattern and good care.
I love bamboo yarn. It has beautiful shine and drape but no stretch. It is also available very cheap in lots of lovely colours and is machine washable.
I used %50 bamboo and %50 cotton yarn in one of my project, it feels like silky whe crockheting and its more shiny than pure cotton. I recomend you to use without hesitation.
