20 sts and 26 rows = 4inches (10cm) using US 7 (4.5mm) needles in stockinette st (knit 1 row, purl 1 row).
Materials:
Medium Weight Yarn, such as Patons Classic Wool (100g balls)
Two U.S. 5 (3.75mm) and two U.S. 7 (4.5mm) needles or whichever needles you require to produce the gauge given.
You Will Also Need:
18 tiny buttons for owl eyes (mini scrapbooking buttons were used here)
For back closure: 7inch length of 5/8" wide soft hook and loop tape or 4 buttons, 3/8" diameter
Spare needle, cable needle
Sewing thread to sew on buttons and hook and loop tape
