How to finish a cross stitch ornament?

Can anyone give me ideas on how to finish a cross stitch ornament? I do not sew and I see all of these nice projects with cording around and have no idea how to do this.

Type into google Twisted Stitcher tutorial. On her blog you can find quite a few great, no-sew finishing instructions. ;)

Twisted Sister is one of the best youtube for finishing although Thea from Victoria Sampler is good too
