Make sure the center design area is large enough before you start stitching. The afghan that I used was 28 ins. long in the center.  These patterns will take a long time to complete I worked on Fireman and Mickey about 14 hours a day for 2 months. I did put it down for a little while but I always started back within a day. Happy stitching.
