Used approximately 40g of the black yarn (about 200 yards) and 20g of the colored yarn (about 100-110 yards)
The sample was knit with a fingering yarn for the black and a lace weight for the color. It was still possible to get the correct gauge, but using two fingering yarns will make it a little easier.
