I found a video on another cross stitch website which showed exactly the same thing here. but unfortunately, it wouldnt let me link a website on here. the video was about 40mins but wow it was great to actually see how it was actually done :D. im still amazed by it ;x
Its very neat - but I figure no-ones going to see the back of my work so with the limited time I have to stitch I prefer to stitch faster even if the back suffers.
A neat back i the sign of an obsessive mind is what i tell myself. If I am working an area with just one color, it is easy to be neat. but when one area of 100 squares (10x10 stitches) has 60 colors in it, it is time to give up being neat on the back and just focus on the front!
Thank you for this! I had posted a thread asking how to make the back of my cross stitch neater. Mine always looks so messy, but I might try this and see how I like it.
