Here are the step-by-step instructions for making a pumpkin biscornu

Materials Needed:

• aida fabric

Steps:
1. Draw 15 squares of 25*25 grids on aida fabric. The space between each square should be 6-10 grids.I suggest 10 grids between each square.
2.jpg

2. Cut the fabric into 15 squares and put 10 pieces and 5 pieces seperately. Why we should put them like this? You will know later.
3.jpg
3. Remember to leave margin of 5 grids of each square. I left 3 grids of each but it was so tight when sewing them together. I suggest 5 grids is enough for each square.
4.jpg
4. I stitched with red colors on 10 pieces of squares and green colors on other 5 pieces of squares in the middle of squares.

7. Starting sewing them together. First, we pick up two red stitched squares and sewing from backstitches to backstiches.
9.jpg
The sewing guide will be like this. Black line means backstitch while red numbers means sewing movement indication and green line means moving of each sewing.  Eg: 1 to 2, 2 to 3......

Then, you can see 2 become 1. I suggest to sew it tightly otherwise it is not firm enough.

Then the 3rd one,the 4th one and the 5th one.

After sewing the 5 squares together, it looks like petals.
And make another petal again. Then we have got 2 petals.
