Hi, Ive noticed that in some areas, like Crochet Patterns, theres a rule to note free patterns in the title (5- If the pattern is FREE, write it on the title.) but not in Cross Stitch Patterns. Some will note it in the title, some in the comments section, others not at all. Ive started googling unfamiliar patterns before I use GC to download. I wondered if its something that could be standardized.
Thanks.

I agree with you,
the same problem isthere with the language,
it is very frustrating for italian members to download a chart
and to see it is Russian
only scanned pattern has these deficits

There are many more free crochet and knitting patterns than cross stitch patterns. It is standardized.

Thanks. Someone PMd me and explained that the free pattern rule is fairly recent. Im sure its hard to verify or enforce, but it would be nice to have a reminder for cross stitch patterns as well.  Details Reply Post time 2016-3-25 09:07
