Help with PinDIY Store DMC free shipping

I have followed the tutorial on how to order DMC free shipping up to 3. , filling in paypal id and preview order.
But then it doesnt direct to aliexpress as tutorial describes. It goes straight to paypal. Is this correct?
Does the tutorial need updating?
Im not sure how to order thread. If someone has ordered recently could you give advise about the process please?
