I wish peopel wouldn't say something hand made isn't big enough. It is not about the size of the piece but about how much effort you made to make something just for her.. In hand made items the size or price is not what determines the value.. sometimes even the time spent is not relevant.. it is your skill - you did something that only a small percent of people in the world know how to do, and yoyu did it beautifully, which is an even smaller percent of the poeple who do know how to cross stitch.
This kind of thing makes me angry.. once someone offered to pay me $5 for something that would take 20 hours to make.. and she thought that I was crazy and asking too much to ask $100. I told her to make it herself and she said she doesn't know how to and doesn't have the time to learn. So I said that.. the hundreds of hours I spent mastering the skills to make the item is worth MORE than the $100 I asked you - I gave you a bargin price!
