This decoration for a pillow cover consists of 9 squares made in overlay crochet technique and joined with single crochet stitches. There are popcorn stitches used in the pattern. Together with a big amount of overlaid stitches they bring nice volume and structure to this design. Decoration is sewed onto a ready fabric pillow cover. Crochet level: Intermediate (front post stitches are used in this pattern), though an “adventurous” beginner can handle it! Materials and tools: Yarn in four colors. You will use a small amount of each color. I chose dark beige, dark brown, orange and cream but you can use any colors you like! You will also need a crochet hook 2.75 mm (C) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge, scissors and tapestry needle to weave the ends, ready fabric pillowcase.
