This is an “any Yarn” project, the sample is made from a single skein of sock weight yarn and made a shawl 16 inches deep and 32 inches across.
It uses a garter tab cast on (explained in pattern) and increases along 5 lines to make 4 equal triangles. The pattern has five separate texture sections (straight stitch, moss stitch, garter stitch, eyelet lace and ribbed stitch) but could be done in any textures you like. There is no specific gauge, just use needles and yarn that make a pleasing fabric for you.
