I am new: buying patterns

Hi everyone,

I just found out about this website and am a new member. However, I have a bit trouble with understanding how everything works. I just paid 50 coins for a pattern, but I get an error when i want to download it. I want to have this pattern: http://bbs.pindiy.com/forum.php? ... p;page=1#pid2900300. The coins are paid, but I cannot get it. Any advice on what to do?

#Quick Reply To compare the pattern you is you consider the cost of unloading and price pattern to give a click on the name of the PDF and youre paying the price and then you go back to give another click on the name of the pdf and it appears to you the cost of download and a new window letting you know that pdf is downloading. Hi,
Im not sure how you get more credits.  Other people who have been on the forum longer might have the answer to that.  I do think youll need more than 23 credits to get to level two.  I have 92 credits and still need 23 more to move up to level two.  You dont buy your way up with coins though.

Glad youre enjoying the extra coins.  Ive found if you log on and off the website several times during the day you can get log in coins that way too.

Youre welcome!  To find out your coin balance just click on the credits section at the top right of the page when youve logged in.  Coins are what you need to download patterns.  Credits are what will move you up to the next level on the site so you can access more features.  Ive been on the site for quite awhile now and still need more credits to get to the next level.  However, if youve got coins you can download patterns to your hearts content!  The number of coins you have is also posted next to your profile when youve replied to or made a post.  I can see that you have 502 coins now since Ive transferred coins to you.

Do your hourly tasks under the My Center tab.   Post comments about finished projects or processing crafts will also give you coins, but you can only do 26 and hour.
Logging in every day will give you 50 coin.   So your coins will grow giving you the ability to buy the patterns you like.    I put patterns I like under favorites so I can go back
to them when I have gained enough coins.

You need 50 gold coind for buyung this pattern but also 30 gold coins to download it.

how did you pay..I am also waiting for my coins to show up..you can also earn coins I think by being an active member..

Wauw, thank you so much! Thats really kind. How can I send coins? And where can I find the coins you sent me? Did you send me gold coins? What is the difference between credits and gold coins? Thanks again xx

Thank you, I think Im starting to understand how this works. Credits (which we need to level up) do we get by being active etc? I saw I need 23 credits to go to level 2. Does it automatically change to lvl 2 or do I need to buy that level with credits?

Thanks again for sharing so many gold coins with me, I have bought several amazing patterns which I wanted for a long time :D
