Paz is a hatchling of Leatherback turtle, at least in shape because in size it is a bit bigger than a real hatchling!!It is worked from nose to tail, joining some pieces as you go and sewing others. To make the ridges and edges, you’ll need to work over the body, making some surface stitches (regular and reverse single crochet).
The approximate size with the materials listed in the pattern is: 9” from head to tail by 14” from tip to tip of the front flippers. (23cm x 35cm).
DIFFICULTY: Advanced beginner to intermediate.
To make this turtle you’ll need:
* Main color: 100-120g of grey yarn. Other options are blue or brown, although you can use any color you like!
* Contrasting color: 30g of cream colored yarn or a lighter color than your main color.
* Crochet hook: 3.5mm to work with WW yarn, or the best size for the yarn you are using.
* 12mm safety eyes or round buttons. You can adjust the size if you want.
* Markers or spare yarn
* Stuffing material, yarn needle and scissors
