Brioche and Garter are a match made in heaven – and the combination offers endless possibilities. This second pattern of the Brioche Trilogy is a fun textured shawl that combines triangles of Brioche and garter stitch with a Chevron border and i-cord edges.
The shawl consists of three brioche and two garter triangles. The color order of the brioche triangles at the edges is reversed from the center brioche triangle: The foreground color (LC) of the center brioche triangle is here the background color (DC) and vice versa. Which also means that you’ll work barks and burps in the same row.
This makes the shawl even more reversible and means that both your main colors (A & C) can shine, no pattern how you wear your shawl!
This is a great pattern for speckled yarn (as Color A), combined with a neutral and a color pop or two (Color D). This candy colored version uses four colors, but you can make a three color version by using the same color for B and D.
