Here is a knitted forest blanket, worked from the center-out in one piece, created using cables and lace, with little owl details, and finished with a picot edge.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions and can be worked at a variety of gauges (needle/yarn suggestions in the pattern) to create a blanket of varying size.
