I do crafts as a hobby. Its a way for me to de-stress and also to get my mind back into focus. I cross stitch and crochet. My cross stitching projects are usually gifts, and my crochet is usually for around the house - hats, scarves, blankets, etc.

I do crafts to pass the time and relax. I have a lot of time to wait, or while traveling it is easier to do something with this time.

Actually, I started as a hobby, now seeing, helps me everything that goes! sometimes it extressante as no longer a hobby, and eventually time pressure, but it all hits!

My arts and crafts are mostly hobbies now, but I used to draw professionally.  I sometimes do that still.  Not often, though!  I really like doing crafts because its fun, and I love making my surroundings more beautiful with them.  Why have a normal tree when you can yarn bomb it or carve things into areas the bark has come off?  You could have a poster or a tapestry!
