Absolutely no charts from books uploaded?

Hello!  Im new.  Not new to cross stitch or embroidery.  ;)  

I want to upload some charts, get gold, and get new charts. :D  However, all the leaflets I have are already posted.  =P  I have in my possession, though, books.  Big books, not so big books, out of print books, and all filled with easily scanned charts.  Those charts arent on here.  Looked up several names and brands.  Doesnt seem like theyre here anyway.

So this is kind of my problem.  Need bunches of gold to get more charts, but I have nothing to sell!  Absolutely no scans from books, period?



Hope this thread is done up correctly.  Taking me a while to learn this place!

There are tasks you can do each hour to get gold coins.  Plus you get 50 coins for signing in each day.

When members want to post a single pattern from a magazine, be sure to search in the magazine section as well.  
If the entire magazine plus the individual charts from that magazine are posted there, then you cannot post the pattern in the scanned section.
If you do not specify which magazine the pattern came from, then your post will be deleted.

OK, anniekins!  So if I put the title of the book, and the pattern I wish to upload from that book is NOT scanned, it is alright?

At the top right hand side there is a white box with "MY CENTER", click on it and a big box opens, click on "Tasks". There you can get 5 GC if you click on it every hour. There is also a task for linking Facebook and your e-mail and also if you add an avatar and posting. ( Maybe you already got those last two?) Anyway have fun! :)

Regarding earning extra points & Gold Coins- You can also go to any one of the diaries on the home page and reply (comment) on the projects that others have posted.  When you comment you earn gold coins and points.  Once you have graduated from the first tier of membership you will be able to not only get the 5 bonus gold coins on the task bar but you can also get the 12 bonus gold coins each hour for being a level 1. Just go to the New tasks and click on the orange button.  (so each hour you can get the hourly bonus of 5 that anyone can get and also the bonus for your level (level 1 is 12 gold coins, level 2 is 13 etc).

Did you ever get an answer about posting patterns from books not magazines?  I am interested in that same question.
