Lift number of personal messages sent to moderators

When a person is new to the site and trying to wade through everything and figure out everything it is really upsetting to be limited to one message in a 24 hours period.  How are we supposed to discuss a problem with a moderator.

I have the same problem. Is not very convenient.

Though I didnt personally have a hard time figuring things out myself and just sort of did it, I certainly agree that one is more likely to need to communicate with a moderator in the beginning rather than later. This is one of those rules I really dont get the reason for. I do understand that mods are busy people, doing this on their free time, but if someone has a problem shouldnt they be able to communicate until it is solved? They can always blacklist someone who abuses this service, giving them a quarantine period in which they cant contact any moderator at all.
