Not allowed to upload better scan

Every time I upload a magazine in Knitting Section
with good scans
it was removed by moderator samara
I complained to her, why she always do this

her answer was:

samara  
your upload my dear is 100 images in 10 rar files the uploaded copy is one pdf file
perfect not images or scan you can sellect text in it
so the uploaded copy is much better and easier to download
thank you so much for your time and efforts sharing your valuable patterns


as far as I know, the forum allowed better scan
this happens now 4 times.

Is this is the desired condition for posting knitting magazine: 2 files to one pdf file,
quality of the scanned images is nocriterion

Do the moderator prefer low resolution ?

I dont know why they dont replace some of the really old poor scans with better.

I always have to explain why my files are so big also.   I do like to make them large so that those with poor eyesight can read them better.
Better for one, better for all.

I have seen some people who upload magazines choose to do each section (pattern/article) a separate download, so that people can pick and choose what they want to download. To me that seems the ideal balance between quality and size of scan. Most are probably not interested in every pattern or article in a magazine, and I certainly wouldnt want a poor quality pdf just so I could have the whole magazine if Im really only interested in one pattern. However paying for a 10 part rar file for the same is too steep.
