Materials:
Chunky weight yarn; Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky yarn used in samples.
Size U.S. 11 (8.00 mm) needles (dpn and circular); U.S. I/9-5.5 mm crochet hook for hat edging.
Earflaps worked on dpn needles, stitches picked up & hat worked in the round.  One round of single crochet to finish edging of hat.

Gauge: 3 stitches = 1 inch

Sizes for Hat:
toddler (18-19 inch head circumference)
child (20-21 inch head circumference)
adult (22-23 inch head circumference)
