1. What is the point of the cast system? Every other forum I have ever been on lets me do pretty much everything from the beginning. This isnt Skull and Bones. People KNOW whats going on! Just let whoever at whatever level download stuff without having to have a certain amount of posts.
2A. I noticed on the level chart that the max file size was 5 mb at one point. So there are many patterns posted in a ridiculous number of parts because of this. Get a moderator on those things. Condense them down so people dont have to pay so much to download the pattern. Further more, make a RULE to post in as few parts as possible. Example: I saw a pattern posted in three parts yesterday. One part was 100 kb. the second was like 30 kb. The third was even smaller. It wasnt even 1 mb together! And it was in three parts! So it wasnt 80 gold (50 + 30). It was 140. Almost twice as much as it should have been. Idiotic.
2B. Download prices: cheaper. Its hard to get gold here. Want to cut bandwidth? Cut the need to comment a generic compliment on everything.
3. Max prices. Enforce a reasonable one (50 g for single charts, more for books, less for free charts) and make this RETROACTIVE! I saw a pattern for over 300 g an hour ago!
4. Let people work the private message. Limitless messages every day BUT limit the inbox size. You can only save say...50 messages at a time.
5. Friends feature with a message for when friends upload to the diary.
6. What is the deal not letting me post but every 26 seconds? I type faster than that. |
