Safety Eyes for Amigurumis

I am living in a very small city in Turkey. I am 36 years old. And at this age, I have found my secret talent which is making amigurumi toys. I really like in fact love making amigurumi toys. At first, I began with the free patterns on the internet. I used yarns that are available in my city, which are not so good. Then, I discovered this site and I could reach better patterns. I started ordering better yarns via Instagram or facebook from sellers. I do not pay much money for yarns. But when I wanted to buy safety eyes for amigurumi, everything has changed. I searched the internet for their price and I saw the price is really cheap in abroad sites like eBay or Aliexpress but for domestic Instagram sellers, the price is unbelievably high. My question is that can I trust the quality of the safety eyes in those abroad sites? or where can I buy my safety eyes? Thanks

Amazon has them. Search safety eyes. When you see the drop down box choose arts, crafts and sewing and there you will find all sorts of nice things. :D

Ive bought them from Amazon and direct from China at geekdotwishdotcom and they are identical. So I imagine they are all made in China and you can buy them from anywhere and get the same quality. Good luck and Im so glad you have found what you love to do.

I ordered some fro ebay and am still awaiting them in the mail. I would hazard a guess that all the other, more expensive, sources just bought them wholesale from the same factory and are reselling.

Hi there! If its of any help, I have made numerous "safety eyes" purchases from both Ebay and AliExpress, so I can tell you that they "are" definitely the same quality as the more expensive ones. And, if I may also make a suggestion, if you search AliExpress in depth, you will find that some of their merchants, offer custom made ones, where you can actually choose from about 30 different colors and many, many pupil shapes to match different animals natural eye forms. They have some absolutely beautiful custom pieces that are definitely worth the extra few minutes of search time. But either or, both sellers have quality products. Hope this helps, good luck!

from aliexpress the order is coming within 2 month (but there are no shipping fees, and the prices are lower than on amazon)

I buy them from Ebay, they coming from China you can not beat the pricing as long as you are willing to wait. They even have the glass eyes very inexpensive.
