Is it a scarf? Is it a hood? Well, it’s twice as good: it’s a hooded scarf! This is one of the cosiest items you can wear to face cold Winter days, or windy Spring mornings. The stitch I chose, combined with a bulky yarn, creates a pretty dense fabric, which gives extra warmth without being too thick.
To make this scarf you’ll need a Tunisian crochet hook; a regular 30 cm rigid one works fine, but I recommend using a corded one, especially for the hood: you’ll have the whole weight of the scarf “on” your hook, so you’ll want to give your wrist a bit of rest.
