Help with my "Share Link on Facebook" awaiting task

Hello all. I am fairly new to the group, and Im a bit confused. I currently have the "Share Link on Facebook" task in my "awaiting tasks" folder but, when I went to post my reply with my screenshot today, I was unable to complete the task, as it seems the thread has been closed. My questions are these:

1. Can I use the "new" tab inside this thread to post my screenshot  for the moderators to review?  or

2. Is this promotion over, and I should just hit "cancel" to remove this task completely, from my "awaiting tasks" folder?
