For working the Center Diamond in the round,
use a single 32”/80 cm circular needle and
the Magic Loop method OR two 24”/60
cm circular needles OR five 6”/15 cm
double-pointed needles.
For working the Left Half and Right Half, use a
24-32”/60-80 cm circular needle.

Spreading Vines may be knitted in two sizes:
scarf and stole. The same instructions are
followed for both sizes; the difference lies in
the weight of the yarn used. The scarf is
knitted in fingering-weight yarn, and the stole
in sport-weight.
Scarf: 16”/41 cm wide and 80”/203 cm long
after blocking
Stole: 17”/43 cm wide and 90”/229 cm long
after blocking
