Add a little spice to your life by knitting this 300 yard shawlette plus 50 yards of contrast border yarn! It is a crescent-shaped, top-down shawlette knit in sport weight yarn, but dk, worsted, or fingering yarn would also work fine. Comprised of 3 parts, the shawlette begins with Japanese Lacy Fronds Lace, followed by a middle garter section. The border is added last, and is a 2-color slip stitch striped lace. Once blocked, my shawlette measured 6 feet end to end, and is 13 inches at its center, deepest point.
