Hook
Crochet hook in size US H/8 (5 mm) or size to obtain gauge.

Gauge
15 sts and 18 rows = 4” in sc; 15 sts and 16 rows = 4” in single crochet rib, slightly stretched; motif = 6” square.

Note
The tunic has a center panel of four motifs bordered by single crochet rib on each side for both the front and back. After motif strips are assembled, ribbed panels are worked from the center out to form the shoulder straps and side panels, with shaping achieved by graduated stitch height.
