Oyes I know what you mean, when my dog died, don't know the word in English it was a little black poedel, we take never a dog back, our dog was 12 years old, had a infection at her uterus no signs at all. At one day she trow up and didn't stop, it was to late and we must let her go.
But memories enough photo's and we talk so now and then about her.
I'm sure you will get another dog, but give it time till you ready for it.

Yes she was.  She was 9 1/2 years old in the picture and we just lost her on her 10th birthday.
