Love & Darkness is a very open and lacy top-down triangle shawl knit out of thicker yarn and needles so it works up quickly. The stitch pattern on this beautify is fun and engaging, while not actually being much of a challenge.

Yarn: 3 skeins or 624 yards (570 meters) of aran weight yarn.

Needles: 5.5mm (US 9) circular needles in at least a 24” (60cm) cord. Or whichever size needles it takes to get gauge.

Notions:

• 4 stitch markers.
• Whichever tools you prefer to weave in your ends, and block your shawls.
  

Gauge: 13 stitches and 21 rows = 4” (10cm) square knit flat in lace pattern and blocked.

Size: 60” (152cm) measured along the wingspan. 34” (86cm) measured down the centre spine.
