ads playing

just wondering........... am i the only one who gets loud playing ads when opening a page?
Not all the time but it scares the hell out of me when  the music suddenly plays

I get them as well and it makes me jump every time. The other thing is if theyre at the bottom of a thread or the new threads lists it automatically pops down to the ad and forces me to look at it. Most annoying.

I think the site gets some money for these ads but not sure.  I use an ad blocker and it seems to work well.
