Points/Credits Calculation question

I noticed that the calculation for credits is listed on the My Points tab in my settings. It appears to be in Chinese and the Google translation is unclear to me. Is it possible for that information to be translated, as well? Or listed in a sticky or in the Tutorials thread? In my case I need English.
I stumbled on the info buried in a thread somewhere at one time, but I havent been able to find it again.

Heres how they are calculated.: Total points = number of posts X0.1 + number of subjects X0.26 + fine posts number X5 + online time (hours) /1.5

I dont know what fine posts are either. Maybe it has to be in a specific category to be Fine? Posts are ANY posting. Subjects refer to the different categories of patterns, like knitting, crochet, etc.

I have never been able to figure it out either.  Im here at least 2 years and havent leveled up past DIY2 :-(  I dont want to post on items Im not downloading and then be told Im spamming people so Im always hesitant.  I post on peoples finished projects (so many, many talented people here).  I would love to know how they calculate "on line time".  Is it the time you spend sending messages, searching??  I dont fully understand.

Its only counted as spamming if you comment the same thing multiple times on the same post. So you can comment on patterns to say thank you or whatever even if youre not downloading them.
