How do I change my user group?

I cant figure out how to change my user group?  Im a DIY.0, I see other people having higher ones. Thank you. And any other useful tips would greatly be appreciated.

Its not possible to change it. With login in or giving comments on other posts you gain points. You can see on your account the amount of credits you need to go to the next level.

yup..its slow going earning those points. sharing patterns, commenting, taking part in the forums is the only way youll get points.

Points are dependant on the level of experience on the site

The more active you are on the site, the more steps towards higher rank.
Its a slow process but youll make it, do not fret :)

Im still finding it hard to "level up" even though Im posting more.  It just seems to take so very long.  If you read the post giving the url it explains how you obtain the "points" to level up, it is a complicated formula based on how much time you are on the site, how many GC you get, how many posts you make, and how much you upload.  Perseverance is the word to be used here :-)
