My upload was rejected because it was LESS than 10 MB each file. I was unaware that I was supposed to make each rar file as close to 10 MB as possible. Whilst I was doing that, someone else uploaded the file correctly. Ill know better in the future. Im sure if the moderators saw the posting you are referring to it would not be available for download, it would be in the "recycle" area.
I agree wholeheartedly regarding the "price" for downloading. I, myself, have charged as much as 75 GC because I saw two of the three patterns already posted at 100 GC. Now, I bought and paid for ALL three patterns but someone beat me to it and thats fine, we all are here to share. Having said that, I think more than 50 points for a download is a lot when you consider they charge you 30 GC just to download (even if the pattern is FREE). I dont really understand the reasoning behind that but Im sure they have one that is logical to them. I also dont understand why people feel the need to limit who can see/download - this is, after all, a sharing site. I NEVER limit my downloads to a specific group of people. It takes a VERY long time to move up levels and I would never do that to someone who is a "newbie" or cant spend much time on the site to level up. In case you cant tell, I abhor greed. I think I currently have enough points that I could download everything I have in my favorites - just how many gold coins does one actually need? Ive also used my GC to put red cards on my site (it really has nothing to see but I wanted to give back just a bit) which I noticed most people here dont do. Many profiles are private so theres no possibility of getting any "gifts" from them and I also understand and respect their need for privacy. These are just my personal opinions and Im sure many will feel differently - thats what makes the world go round :-)
